We’ve gotten word that Grant County has been approved to move into Phase 2!
Bloom will reopen next week! If you had an appointment that was affected by the closure please stand by as your stylist will be contacting you in the days to come.
Please have patience with us through this next phase. We are so excited to see each and every one of you, but the rebooking process is going to take me some time as we are rescheduling almost two and a half months of missed appointments. We will do our very best to manage our schedules and the new restrictions and regulations as efficiently as we can.
Please remember during Phase 2 of reopening Washington salons are required to follow a new set of safety and disinfecting regulations. We have always been an industry that is held to a high standard of cleanliness as we are hands on and face to face with the public. These new regulations will take that cleanliness to the next level to help protect salon guests and stylists.
Once again we want to share this list of new requirements straight from the sate with a few notes from us.
o Client must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving at the service provider location. Do you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches or new loss of taste or smell? If any of these apply or if you have a household member who has tested positive for Covid-19 please call the salon (707-7700) to reschedule your appointment. If someone arrives at our salon and is showing symptoms of illness we will not be able to service them and will have to reschedule.
o Clients should not plan on bringing other guests with them, unless they are bringing children younger than 16 for an appointment. Our waiting area will be closed during Phase 2. Children must be brought one at a time at their scheduled appointment time by one parent. Salons will not be able to do any double booking at this time.
o Clients should advise personal service providers via call, email or text that they have arrived at the location for the appointment, and are waiting for instructions to enter. We prefer TEXT at this time! Please text your stylist when you arrive at the salon and wait in your car until we respond that you can come in. We will be booking extra time between appointments for disinfecting and the waiting area will be closed during Phase 2, so once again we ask for your patience.
o Clients should put on a facemask prior to leaving the vehicle, and they should be prepared to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds prior to starting their service. During Phase 2 clients and service providers will be required to wear masks while in the salon. To receive hair services your mask must be the kind that loops around the ears and does not tie around the head. Please talk to your stylist prior to your appointment if you have questions about types of masks or need help finding the right kind.
o The service provider will wear a clean cape or gown, as well as providing each client with a clean cape or gown. They must be laundered, or be disposable and thrown away after a single use.
o Payments for service should be through credit or debit cards or a touchless system to reduce the handling of cash. Please talk to your stylist, prior to your appointment, about payment options.
A few other things you should know.
If you need to purchase products but do not have an appointment please call the salon phone (707-7700) before you come and we will put together your order for pick up. All pick up retail sales will be billed by email invoice.
We cannot accommodate any walk - in scheduling during Phase 2. Please contact your stylist to schedule future appointments.
Failure to follow the new state requirements (by a stylist or any salon client) could result in the closure of the salon.
We realize the salon experience will look a little different for a while, but it is worth it to be back behind the chair again and be able to make our guests look and feel their best! We look forward to seeing you soon!
